AIVisibility

Is AI recommending your brand? Find out.

Why It Exists

Search behavior is shifting from ten blue links to one answer. When a customer asks an AI "what's the best tool for X," your rank on Google doesn't matter — your presence in the model's answer does.

We built the first version for ourselves in a weekend: a script that asked several models whether they knew our products. The answers were eye-opening enough that we turned it into a product.

The Problem

Brands have no visibility into AI visibility. Traditional SEO tooling measures crawlers and SERPs — a world that's becoming one input among many. Nobody was answering the direct question: when the AI answers, are you in the answer?

The Build

AIVisibility runs scheduled prompt panels across major LLMs, tracking whether and how a brand appears — mentioned or omitted, described accurately or not, ahead of or behind competitors. The hard problems are prompt design (you're sampling a fuzzy system, not querying a database), run-to-run stability, and presenting probabilistic output in a way marketers can act on.

What We Learned

  • AI answers drift. A brand can be recommended Monday and invisible Friday with no one touching their site. Monitoring is not optional.
  • Users need trends, not single answers. The most valuable chart we ship is visibility over time.
  • Every company will need this. The only question is whether they know it yet.

Current State

Growing. The AI search era is arriving faster than the tooling.

Frequently asked questions

What is AI visibility?

When a customer asks ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, or Perplexity for a recommendation, your Google rank does not matter — your presence in the model's answer does. AI visibility is whether and how you appear in those answers.

How does AIVisibility measure it?

Scheduled prompt panels run across major language models, tracking whether your brand is mentioned, how it is described, and where it lands relative to competitors.

Why monitor over time instead of checking once?

AI answers drift. A brand can be recommended on Monday and invisible on Friday with no one touching its site. Trends, not single checks, are what you can act on.

Does it replace SEO tools?

No — it complements them. Traditional SEO measures crawlers and SERPs; AIVisibility measures the answer layer on top, which is where search behavior is heading.
