renewly Privacy Policy

This policy covers the renewly mobile application for Android, published by SALIM TECHONOLOGIES, trading as SALIM Technologies ("we", "us"). It is separate from the policy for our website.

The short version

renewly collects nothing. It has no account, no server, and no analytics, and its released builds do not request the Internet permission, so the app cannot send your data anywhere.

Information we collect

None. We do not collect, receive, store off your device, sell, or share any personal information. We operate no servers that receive data from the app, and we have no way to identify you.

Your renewals

The items you track, including their names, dates, categories, any cost you choose to record, and your notes, are stored only in renewly's private storage on your own device, where other apps cannot read them. They are never uploaded, because the app has nowhere to upload them to. Uninstalling renewly deletes them.

renewly never connects to a bank, a card, or an email account, and it cannot scan your transactions or messages. Everything it knows is what you typed into it.

Reminders

Reminders are local notifications, scheduled on your device by the app itself. No reminder passes through a server, and no push notification service is used.

Permissions

renewly requests only these permissions, all of them for reminders:

• Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS), to show your reminders. The app works fully as a tracker without it, and only asks after you have saved your first item.
• Run at startup (RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED), used solely to restore your scheduled reminders after the device restarts.
• Vibration (VIBRATE), so a reminder can vibrate. This is a normal Android permission, granted automatically, and it gives no access to any of your data.

Released builds do not request the Internet permission. renewly also does not request exact alarm permissions, your contacts, location, camera, microphone, photos, files, or any other sensitive permission.

Third parties

renewly contains no advertising, no analytics, no crash reporting, and no third-party SDKs that receive your data. Nothing is shared with anyone, because nothing is collected.

If you install renewly from Google Play, Google processes the download under its own policies. We receive only the aggregate, anonymous statistics Google shows to any developer, such as install counts.

Children

renewly is suitable for all ages. It collects no data from anyone, including children, and contains no ads, no purchases, and no external content.

Your rights

Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to access, export, correct, or delete. Your renewals are under your control on your device: you can edit or delete any of them in the app, export a backup at any time, or remove everything by uninstalling it.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of renewly adds any feature that uses the network, for example an optional cloud backup or sync between devices, we will update this policy and the Google Play Data safety disclosure before that version ships, and any such feature will be clearly optional and off by default.
