A Subscription Tracker That Never Touches Your Bank
The big trackers want your bank login and still miss subscriptions. renewly asks for none of it. You tell it what matters, it reminds you before anything renews, and nothing leaves your phone.
No bank link, by design
renewly never connects to a bank, a card or an email account, and it cannot scan your transactions. Everything it knows is what you typed into it. That is a deliberate trade: in our hands-on testing the bank-scanning trackers still missed about a third of subscriptions, so you were granting the most sensitive permission there is for an incomplete answer.
On-device, with no internet permission
Your items are stored in renewly’s private storage on your own device. Release builds ship with the INTERNET permission stripped at build time, so the app cannot send your data anywhere even by accident. There is no server, no account and no push service, which is also why there is nothing to breach.
Frequently asked
- Does renewly connect to my bank?
- No. It never links a bank, card or email account, and it cannot read your transactions. You add what you want to track yourself.
- Can it send my data anywhere?
- No. Release builds have no internet permission at all, so the app physically cannot transmit your data. Everything stays on your device.
